Home Buying Made Easier
When I first set out to purchase a home, I was at a loss for where to look. I did not want to drive up and down the streets I was interested in and try to find home for sale signs. Reading the newspaper classified was a little too tedious as well. I never did learn how to read the acronyms correctly.
It was recommended to me time and time again, to go get an buyers agent so I did. However, it never occurred to me that I was receiving this advice from people who bought their homes well before the internet became a household necessity. Today, I have a different option that can save me thousands of dollars, I could have used a flat fee buying program.
A flat fee home buying program, can help me find homes in my area that are for sale because the company behind the program has direct access to the MLS. The MLS is the database that contains all the homes for sale in an area and before the internet the only way to gan access to this database was through a real estate agent.
Next time I decide to buy a house, I plan on using a flat fee buyers service and investing my savings back into my home. I’m already dreaming of the new furniture I could buy with the money I will save.
